Many came out to pay their respects including Stevie Wonder, Reverend Al Shaprton, and singer Christina Aguilera, who seemed to be having an issue with Mother Nature in plain sight. When I was sent this pic, I seriously thought it was photoshopped because there is no way in hell a grown ass woman has accidents like THIS in public. But then I got my hands on the video below, and it’s clear she is aware that she’s having a situation from the moment she walks out on stage. Once the camera crew got wind of what was going on, they started to zoom in real close and zoom out really far… Still, I can’t believe she didn’t tell them to hold the fuck up while she got herself together. We women have to go through a bunch-o shit when it comes to our bodies, but by 31 you should have the have the monthly thing WELL under control. Um… On a postivie note, she completely kills Etta’s “At Last” and in true entertainer form she kept the show going. Christina’s voice still gives me goosebumps. Bitch can sing. but fuck all that. You get yourself some Always with wings and make sure your not bleeding across stages. usually wouldnt do this but…really tho? really?? your feet aren’t the only thing with red bottoms dearest… she just can’t seem to snatch together when it really counts. In my Joan Crawford via Mommy Dearest voice, “DAMNIT CHRISTINA!” as many memes and jpegs as i have seen regarding the unpredicatiblity of one’s cycle and the ensuing paranoia about checking, in addition to the myriad of things that can mess with the regularity of ones cycle i would think more folks would be sympathetic to getting snuck up on. I am both tired and bored by everyone’s routine womyn-hating show. Periods are gross and evil and she should be ESPECIALLY ashamed for this, clearly. Come off it, she had an accident. The heckling in uneccessary. this isn’t even real. Even if it was real, snarking on her like that is a total dick move. Seriously, why the snark? This is like every pre-teens worst nightmare come to life. You grow up to be a big beautiful singer. You’re singing your heart out. Oh no! You get your period in front of everyone! And your crush is probably in the audience too. You write to Traumarama over at Seventeen about it where we all commiserate because yeah that totally would suck, instead of tumblr where we all apparently shame a person for a natural biological function that may or may not have even happened.
